Anna Corrigan - Ireland

Cake Art was established by Anna Corrigan in 2002. Since that time the business has grown and developed based upon the excellent reputation that Anna has established for her unique wedding cakes, birthday cakes and celebration cakes. Her artisan approach and passion for what she does has seen Cake Art become one of the most sought after suppliers of speciality cakes within the midlands of Ireland.

What started as a hobby many years ago has been perfected through experience and training in both icing and decorating courses along with food hygiene training. All food business operators have to comply with hygiene of foodstuffs legislation and Cake Art have invested much time in training (including HACCP) and expense in obtaining the appropriate local authority certification for her kitchen and work place. This approach assures our customers that Cake Art are professional at every level of the cake making process.

Lisa Karvellas - New Jersey

After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Chef Lisa trained at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan where she graduated #1 in her class in 2011. Her time in Manhattan allowed her to work directly with some of the world’s finest chefs, from French Master Chef Alain Sailhac to television personality Tom Colicchio. Eager to learn from the masters of the Old World, Lisa moved to Italy where she worked in the Tuscan and Sicilian kitchens. While in Italy, she fell in love with the inherent farm-to-table culture of Italian dining, and returned home to begin her own catering business with her sister, Stephanie. They are now the Co-Founders of Cedar Lakes Estate, a premiere wedding and events facility in the Hudson Valley. With Stephanie as the Event Coordinator, and Lisa as the Executive Chef, they host many high-end weddings and retreats throughout the year that are uniquely homespun, yet professionally executed.
